Full disclosure: today is our fourth consecutive day and night of contractions, back pain and sleepless nights. It's two weeks overdue at at least 9.5 pounds and is in a posterior (incorrect) birthing position. We've taken almost every measure possible to help this child come naturally, but s/he does not want to make an appearance. The c-section is scheduled for tomorrow morning, Thursday, 9/30 at 9:30am.
Given recovery and getting to know baby, we probably won't be ready for visitors before say 6pm / early evening that day and perhaps Friday is preferred. We will of course send out emails and call asap, but please call the hospital directly to check on the status if you haven't heard from us.
